True Words Against Bullying
I saw this link today on Facebook. Take a couple minutes and watch it. For anyone who has ever experienced bullying, these words will ring deep and true.
Surely she doesn't consider herself a good example for young girls? Seriously? Than what is? Teaching them to judge people you know nothing about solely on their looks? Yeah, GREAT example!
I've been picked on for my weight, my acne, and my intelligence. I am still a little sensitive about some of those topics, but over the years of criticism and bullying, I have learned to fight back. I know who I am, those who love me know who I am.
If someone cannot be bothered to look past the facade of your exterior to find out who your are underneath and will judge you solely on that fact, they are not worth your time.
